Fresh & Local Ingredients

In the Heart of Derbyshire

Deacon's Bank proudly shops local, to source the very best ingredients. Our Beef, Pork & Lamb are all extremely local, under 5 miles from our front door in the Derbyshire Hills. All our dishes use ingredients at the height of the season. Where it isn't possible to source from Derbyshire, we are sourcing from the UK, with full traceability on all our produce. Our highly experienced Chef's put together each and every dish in-house, using a vast array of culinary techniques to bring you the best quality at an accessible price.

Meet Chef-Patron Leo Harvey

Leo Harvey is our Head Chef & Co-Owner. With over 2 decades experience as a Chef making great food, he has a strong vision for Deacon's Bank. Chef Leo is supported by a small team of excellent Chefs who all share the same vision for creating exceptionally high quality dishes, using a variety of culinary techniques to create flavoursome, well presented fine dining to our guests.

Leo started at Deacon's Bank as the Sous Chef, before being promoted to Head Chef and then in December 2025 he purchased the business alongside business partner and Maitr D' Harrison.
